Get documents signed online, without leaving your site
Send a contract, consent form or waiver and have it signed on any phone or computer. The signing happens inside your own website, the signed copy is sealed and stored, and nobody has to print, scan or chase anything.
Try it outDemo only: nothing is stored.
Annual boiler service agreement
Hartley & Sons will service your boiler once a year and cover call-outs for £69 a year. Either of us can cancel with 30 days' notice.
Customer signature
Not signed yet
Paperwork done before they arrive
Clients sign from a link in an email, or from a form on your site, whenever suits them. You start the work with the signed agreement already in hand.
No more chasing
See who has signed and who has not, and send a reminder to the ones still outstanding in one click.
A record you can stand behind
Each signed PDF is sealed, so any later change shows up, and it carries a record of who signed, when, and how they were verified.
On your site, under your name
Signers stay on your domain and see your branding. There is no signing account or subscription for you to pay for.
Everything that is included
Signing, from the signer's side
Works on a phone
The document is shown on the page, with boxes to tap where they need to sign, initial or fill something in. No app, no account.
Type or draw a signature
Signers can type their name or draw it with a finger or mouse, and they choose to use it before it is applied.
More than just a signature
Add text boxes, dates, tick boxes and drop-down choices, and mark which ones are optional.
A one-time email code
Signers can be asked for a code sent to their email before they open the document, so the right person is signing.
Several signers, in order
Ask a client to sign first and then you, or send the same agreement to more than one person.
Sending documents
Documents built for you
The set-up includes up to three templates I build from your wording, such as a contract, a consent form and a waiver, with the signer's own details filled in as they enter them.
Upload your own
Add as many of your own PDFs as you like from your portal, place the boxes where you want them and send. No extra charge per document.
Forms anyone can sign
Put a link on your site that lets any visitor fill in and sign a form, such as a consent form before an appointment.
Reminders
Nudge anyone who has not signed yet, without writing the email.
Copies to the right people
Want a colleague, an adviser or your own records to have the signed document too? Add them as a recipient and they are emailed a copy once everyone has signed, without having to sign anything.
After it is signed
Sealed and time-stamped
The finished PDF is sealed and time-stamped, carries a certificate page listing every step, and shows a warning if anyone alters it afterwards.
Everyone gets a copy
Each signer is emailed the signed document, so you are not asked to resend it a month later.
A home for signed documents
Find, download and check every signed document in your client portal, with who signed it and its status.
You choose how long it is kept
Pick a retention period for all of your documents, and extend or shorten it for any single one.
How it gets onto your site
01
You send me your documents
Your contract, consent form or waiver, in whatever form it exists today. I turn up to three into templates.
02
I build it into your site
Signing is set up on your own pages and tested from a phone to the sealed copy, before launch.
03
You send and track
Send a document from your portal, or let visitors sign a form on your site, and watch each one move to signed.
What it costs
Added to any package from £400.
It is a live service, so your site needs at least the Standard maintenance plan, from £150 a month. There is no separate account or subscription on top.
Common questions
- Is a signature made this way legally binding?
- In the UK, the Electronic Communications Act 2000 makes an electronic signature admissible as evidence in court, and these are simple electronic signatures of that kind. Admissible is not the same as guaranteed to be enforceable, and I do not advise on, or warrant, whether a document signed this way is valid for your use, so ask your solicitor if it matters. They are not suitable for documents the law requires to be signed in a particular way, such as deeds that must be witnessed or wills.
- Do signers need an account?
- No. They open the link, check the document and sign. If you want extra assurance, they enter a one-time code emailed to them first.
- How long are signed documents kept?
- For the period you choose, which is six years from signing unless you tell me otherwise. You can ask for any one document to be kept longer or deleted sooner, and a document that is never fully signed is deleted 30 days after its link expires.
- Can it fill in documents from my CRM or practice software?
- Not as part of the standard set-up. It covers documents you supply and the details a signer types in. Pulling data from your other system(s) is almost certainly possible but it's a separate job, and I will quote for it once I know what is involved.
- How can I tell a signed document has not been changed?
- The sealed PDF shows a warning in Adobe Acrobat if it is altered after signing. The signing certificate page explains how to check the seal yourself.
